Community guidelines
That's Ducked Up exists so Jeepers can find each other's events and show up. Chapter chat is a members-only space, and everyone who signs in agrees to these rules.
Zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Messages, photos, listings, and event posts may not contain:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any person.
- Hate speech or slurs about race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or age.
- Sexual content, nudity, or content involving minors.
- Another person's private information, including home addresses, phone numbers, or license plates shared without consent.
- Spam, scams, impersonation of a chapter or organizer, or illegal activity.
What happens when something is reported
- Report: every chat message has a Report option. Reports go to the chapter's moderators and owner, who can remove the message and the member.
- Block: blocking a member hides their messages from you in every chapter immediately. Moderators can still see the messages so they can act on them.
- Removal: moderators remove reported content within 24 hours of a report and may remove members who break these rules. Repeat or severe violations end the account.
- Automatic filter: the clearest threats and slurs are refused before they are posted.
Chapters and public events
Private chapter details, exact meeting points, and member lists stay inside the chapter. Only an approved public summary and a broad public area reach the open calendar. Never publish a private home address as an event location.
